Girlschool was one of our bigger productions. Four performers, multiple scenes, a real storyline that threads through the whole thing. We don’t always get to do narrative-driven work like this, so when the opportunity comes up we go all in.
The setup: an all-girls school after hours. Christy Love plays a professor who catches two students together, and instead of shutting it down, she gets pulled into something she didn’t expect. From there the power dynamics start shifting. Kenna James drives a lot of the escalation, and she’s got this confidence on screen that makes you believe every move she makes. Jade Venus and Korra Del Rio round out the cast and both brought real energy to their scenes.
The thing we liked about this one was the tension between authority and temptation. The professor isn’t a villain. She’s someone who discovers something about herself in real time, and Kenna’s character knows exactly how to push that. It’s seductive in a way that goes beyond the physical.
We shot it over two days. Multiple setups, wardrobe changes, the works. It felt more like directing a short film than shooting a scene. That’s the kind of production we wish we could do more of.
